This boy has been busy this week!!! I can't believe all the "firsts" of this week! Pulling up in his crib and everywhere else, crawling and now he's cruising. Where has my baby gone?!?!

Blog... forgotten.

Let me just say that I feel absolutely awful for neglecting this blog. A lot has been going on and I've realized that I need to take a step back and get back to the basics. I'm currently in 3 photography workshops, still working full time, picking up sessions on the weekends, etc, etc, etc. I noticed that I stopped taking photos of Web because I was so busy taking photos of everyone else. This made me so sad, but some very nice fellow photography moms told me that this indeed, was normal at the beginning of a photography career. They all told me to just slow down, and really start to value my time away from my family and friends while I was away, shooting and editing (all the time). I really re-evaluated myself and my wants. I ended up increasing my prices (so that my traffic would slow down - and it has substantially). Eve of Web's 1st Birthday... a letter to bug from momma.

Hey readers... I know, I know. WORST BLOGGER EVER. But as I sit here on the eve of Web's very first birthday, I feel compelled to write him a letter. So.... here goes. Bug, Hi sweetheart. Tomorrow's your birthday. Not just any birthday, but your very first. This exact time, one year ago, your Daddy and I were making sure we had everything packed just right, I was trying to get some sleep but couldn't, and I was enveloped with the thoughts of seeing your gorgeous face for the very first time. I couldn't stand it... I was so excited. We left for the hospital a married couple and came home parents to a force that would change our lives forever... you. 10 perfect tiny toes and 10 perfect tiny fingers. Happy 17 months Web!

I cannot believe it has already been 17 months! That is absolutely insane! We have now been living in our home for 1 year and we're still goin' strong! Web had to go to the Dr's office today because he's basically got "the crud..." you know, nasty snot running down his nose, cough, fever, etc. He makes me so sad when I see him sniffle. :::insert pouty face here::: He was 28.8 pounds and doing very well! I thought I'd update everyone on how he's doing and his development so far! Here is a list of things he "says" (aka: that mommy, daddy and maybe GG understands): Hi!
