Yay! Trey put in the baseboards today and the plantation blinds we bought! I must say... just seeing how well the nursery turned out makes me want to redo the entire apartment. We used Behr Ultra Pure White Enamel paint to cover the hideous gloss paint. The new enamel paint helps hide the poor construction of the walls because it has absolutely no gloss in it whatsoever, so it looks really nice and crisp. We also cleaned the carpet (which was much needed) and cleaned the overhead light fixture as well. So... here it is family and friends! Web's new room (at least the beginning of it anyways)!!!
Here's a close up of the plantation baseboards we bought from Home Depot. Trey cut them to fit and they are beautiful! They're nailed in and all we have to do now is putty up the holes and paint over them, then voila! We'll be done! :)
