Today has been a rough day. Today was Web's 2 month Dr's visit... also known as "Web gets 4 super scary shots in the teeny tiny thighs day." SO SAD.
But first... let's look back at the GIGANTIC progress he's made. So much progress (in the weight department) that the nurse had to double check his weight charts and still didn't believe the results. "That can't be right." she said. Indeed... it was.
WEIGHT:
*Birth: 9 lbs 0 oz
*1 week: 9 lbs 6.5 oz
*2 weeks: 9 lbs 14 oz
*8 weeks: 13lbs 4.5 oz
LENGTH:
*Birth: 21 1/2 inches
*1 week: 21 1/2 inches
*2 weeks: 22 inches
*8 weeks: 23 1/2 inches
HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE:
*8 weeks: A HOLY MOLY 16 inches. WOAH. No wonder I had a c-section!!!
So there you have it folks. Web is growing and gaining at insane speeds. He's in the 90th percentile for all of his measurements and is even surpassing his developmental milestones! Dr. laid Web tummy down on the table and he immediately bowed his body and pulled head, chest, legs and thighs off the table. Super Web! The Dr then stood him up on the table and wouldn't you know it!?!? She was able to take her hands off him for a split second and he supported himself. He is even holding his head steady when being pulled to sit. Yay! All in all, he's doing wonderfully!

Here are Web's boo - boos. The nurse gave him some snoopy and tazmanian bandaids to cover up the little holes she ever so sadistically left behind. (He had another two on his other little thigh) :(
